The Oek Residence is situated in a quiet side street close to the technical university TU and can accommodate 80 students. It also houses the office of the ESWM association. The furnished rooms vary between 12-15 m² and are all equipped with sinks. You find a communal kitchen, showers and toilets on every of the 5 floors. 36 rooms have a balcony facing the residence garden which is a popular place for studying together, having a barbeque or simply enjoying some sunshine.
Besides many spontaneous activities you can enjoy events organized through the Tutor Program ranging from sports to culture. The bar room is an attractive and popular venue at least once a week.
We aim to fill our residence equally with Germans and international students of different religious backgrounds to provide a unique chance of intercultural exchanges.
Our residents are encouraged to contribute to the community and take part in important decisions through the Residence Students Association. The students also elect the floor representatives and the house speakers who decide about admitting new residents. A committed Residence Host takes care of all residence matters and assists the students anywhere possible.
